According to the ManpowerGroup Employment Overview Survey, Turkish employers expect positive employment for the first quarter of 2022, with a +30 percent Net Employment Outlook.
The ManpowerGroup Employment Overview Survey revealed that Turkish employers have strong hiring prospects for the first quarter of 2022. While the Net Employment Outlook was measured at +30%, it increased by 15 percentage points compared to the previous quarter and by 27 percentage points compared to the same period a year ago, displaying the most positive outlook since the start of the survey.
According to the data of the research conducted by consulting the opinions of 1,007 employers from seven regions of Turkey, 51 percent of Turkish employers expect an increase in employment in the first quarter of 2022, while 21 percent foresee a decrease and 26 percent expect no change.
Employment Expectations of Employers for the Period January – March 2022
Expectations are higher than in the previous quarter in 36 of 40 countries covered by the ManpowerGroup Employment Overview Survey, which was conducted for the 60th time with the participation of 39,000 employers.
It reports a seasonally adjusted Net Employment Outlook of +30% in the first quarter of 2022 in Turkey, as well as employers around the world, and expects a strong employment market to emerge.
